Assamese Traditional Jewellery Sets(Axomia Gohona) Best-Selling New designs, Elegant work of Handicraft to complement with your Saree and Mekhela Chador outfit.

Assamese Traditional Axomia Gohona is completely handmade and is an example of skilled craftsmanship. The Jewellery is mostly influenced by nature (e.g. birds, grains, animals) and others by musical instruments (drums, horns, etc) and few more by things daily used in an Assamese household (Jaapi - a handmade conical hat). The mainframe is silver made and finally, it is covered with very thin layers of gold foil (paat-xun). It is embedded with stones. This particular kind of jewellery is very affordable and easy to maintain.

This design is called Jonbiri. In Assamese, Jon means the Moon and Biri is the surrounding designs of Jonbiri. This is an eye-catching accessory that is adorned by the beautiful women of Assam. It is a crescent moon-shaped pendant and earring with gold and rubies in the front and enamel coating behind.
